By accessing or using CareerAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not use our service.

Description of Service

CareerAI is a mobile application that provides AI-powered career assistance, including:

• Resume optimization and review
• Cover letter generation
• Interview preparation
• Salary negotiation guidance
• Career coaching and advice
• Job search strategies

Subscription Terms

Free Trial

• New users receive a 3-day free trial of CareerAI Pro
• You will not be charged during the trial period
• You may cancel anytime during the trial without charge
• If you don't cancel, you'll be charged $7.99/week after the trial ends

Subscription Billing

• Subscriptions are billed weekly at $7.99 USD
• Payment is charged through your Apple App Store account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid period

Acceptable Use

You agree to use CareerAI only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the service to create false, misleading, or fraudulent content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated systems or bots to access the service
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service to harm, harass, or discriminate against others

AI-Generated Content

Content Disclaimer

• CareerAI uses AI technology (OpenAI GPT) to generate responses
• AI-generated content is provided for informational purposes only
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use
• AI responses should not be considered professional career counseling or legal advice

Your Responsibility

• You are solely responsible for how you use AI-generated content
• You must ensure any resumes, cover letters, or other documents are accurate
• You should not include confidential or proprietary information from current or former employers
• You agree not to use AI-generated content for illegal or unethical purposes

Intellectual Property

Your Content

• You retain ownership of content you upload or create
• By using CareerAI, you grant us a license to process your content through AI services
• We do not claim ownership of your resumes, cover letters, or other documents
• You may export or delete your content at any time

Our Content

• CareerAI's software, design, and branding are our property
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property
• AI-generated responses are provided under a limited license for your personal use

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• CareerAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee specific career outcomes or job placement
• We are not liable for decisions you make based on AI-generated content
• We are not responsible for third-party services (OpenAI, Apple, etc.)
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months

Professional Advice Disclaimer

CareerAI provides general career guidance and is not a substitute for:

• Professional career counseling
• Legal advice
• Financial advice
• Medical or mental health services

Always consult qualified professionals for specific advice related to your situation.

Privacy

Your use of CareerAI is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Third-Party Services

CareerAI integrates with third-party services:

• OpenAI: AI processing is subject to OpenAI's terms and policies
• Apple App Store: Payments are subject to Apple's terms
• RevenueCat: Subscription management is subject to RevenueCat's terms

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting in the app. Your continued use of CareerAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Apple Requirements

These terms comply with Apple's minimum requirements for App Store applications:

• Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID
• Payment is charged to your App Store account
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user through App Store account settings
